Travelogue 02: 'singapore sling when you're winning 21.01.02'
Report two: Dubai to Singapore. What I don't say in these first couple of posts is that I stayed with my aunt in Dubai, so the move to Singapore was a step up in terms of independent travel. As it happened, Singapore was an easier place for me to find my feet than Dubai, so overall a relatively gentle introduction to the itinerant lifestyle. I've also failed to mention in this post that my Singapore accommodation was little more than a corridor with bunk beds in. I'm pretty sure I picked up some bed bugs here, though they declined to travel into Malaysia with me in the days that followed.
